Hunger Action Month is a nationally recognized effort to mobilize the public to end hunger in our community. Each September, Feeding the Gulf Coast joins other Feeding America food banks across the country to urge everyone to take action against domestic hunger. Nearly 49 million people in America struggle with hunger often do so in silence. They live in our communities, they are our neighbors, our co-workers and our friends. So, we’re asking you to be their voice.
